Creating mixed media paintings and has decades of creating fine art black and white photography.
Julie has creative artists on both sides of her family. Her grandmother and six siblings on her mother's side were all artists, painters, and creators of art. Her grandfather on her father's side sang opera and played classical piano by ear, and her father's sister was a watercolorist painter.
Charleston Gallery Association
A milestone in her career was creating and launching a new art gallery association, merging the French Quarter Gallery Association of 25 years and several smaller groups into one called Charleston Gallery Association (CGA). As President, she managed this transition from 28 art galleries to 40+ to include all art galleries in the greater Charleston area. This cohesiveness placed all organizations under one umbrella that created excitement for the community, galleries, and artists and one point of branding and marketing to the organizations. www.CharlestonGalleryAssociation.com
